I hereby nominate Cassie Jaye for the 2019 Nobel Peace Prize for her attention to a human rights issue that almost everybody else is completely ignoring. MP: Kudos to Cassie Jaye for her courageous efforts to address a very important issue that is so frequently overlooked and discounted. The Red Pill chronicles filmmaker Cassie Jayes journey following the mysterious and polarizing Mens Rights Movement. But these issues deserve to be acknowledged, they deserve care, attention, and motivation for solutions. She examines her own thought patterns and prejudices fairly and organically. She then methodically investigates their claims and finds that they are correct. Because they think men have all the rights, they have all the power and privilege. With a thoughtful and pragmatic approach, Cassie Jaye sits calmly with the members of the mens rights organisation and listens. These are men’s issues, and most people can’t name one. So many issues that are heartbreaking if you are the victim or if you love someone who is the victim of any one of these issues.

There is no denying that there are many human rights issues that uniquely or disproportionately affect men: Jaye has been celebrated for her attention to nuance and balanced approach when directing films about politically controversial topics.

Interestingly, the Tomatometer reading for “The Red Pill” was only 29% (based on 7 reviews) while the Audience Score was 91% based on more than 1,200 user ratings with an average rating of 4.6/5. Jayes latest feature documentary, 'The Red Pill', follows her journey learning about the Mens Rights Movement and is set to be released on March 7, 2017. The October 2017 TED Talk above may be the best one I’ve ever seen - “ Meeting the Enemy: A feminist comes to terms with the Men’s Rights movement” - featuring documentary filmmaker Cassie Jaye, who produced the controversial 2016 film “ The Red Pill,” see trailer below.
